ATS310: SyncBoard 2x
If your application requires more than 2 channels for data acquisition, you can synchronize multiple digitizers to allow truly synchronous sampling using a Leader/Follower SyncBoard 310. SyncBoard 310 is a mezzanine board that connects to the Leader/Followere connector along the top edge of the ATS310 and sits parallel to the motherboard.
SyncBoard 310 2x allows a 2-board Leader/Follower system for 4 channels of data acquisition.
SyncBoard 310 features controlled impedance, and equal length traces to deliver clock, trigger, and initialization signals to each ATS310 in the system.
Synchronize up to four ATS310 boards for up to 8 channels of data acquisition using the SyncBoard 310 4x.
Complete synchronization between Leader board and all Follower boards
The Leader board's clock and trigger signals are copied by the SyncBoard 310 and supplied to all the Follower boards. This guarantees complete synchronization between the Leader board and all Follower boards. SyncBoard 310 allows the use of variable frequency clocks in Leader/Follower configuration. A Leader/Follower system samples all inputs simultaneously and also triggers simultaneously on the same clock edge.
For optimal trigger accuracy, only the Leader board is allowed to trigger the acquisition system.
